Costs:
Experience has shown that this method can reduce the total costs.

Quality:
The experience of the Norwegian Telecommunications company has shown that cast ducts with wells for jointing have 25-30 times less chance of failure per cable length
(Ref.; Telenor’s “Guidelines for duct installation”)

Standard: (Many processes are facilitated using standardized solutions):
- Faster planning
- Simpler decision process
- Budgeting
- Cost control

Many factors emerge during planning; use of earth, concrete consumption, trench size, etc. This simplifies cost control.

- Follow-up
Standard methods = less chance of failure.

To build a better infrastructure, the following is required:
- faster adaptation to new technologies.
- an edge over competitors who do not have this network.
- limit future expenses and provide cheaper services.

Rapid installation
- Experience shows that 20-100m of cast pipes are produced per man per hour.
- This includes: installation of pipes/ducts and casting.

Refilling of earth
- Less supply, removal and changing of earth

Cable drawing
The cables can be drawn longer because cast pipes can endure greater stress and are more stable. Cables can also be drawn around bends.

Less trench work
The trench is narrower and shallower because cast ducts do not need to be laid so deep and the construction is more compact.

Minimum maintenance
Experience has shown that the maintenance costs of cast ducts are lower.

Security during the installation period provides operating advantages
Cast pipes can endure the heavy stress which can arise during the installation period.

This gives a virtual guarantee that the pipes will be intact when they are used later.
